To enable computers that do not start anymore, or new computer to get an image from your SCCM 2012 server you need to configure PXE first. This article describes all the steps that need to be done. A big plus for this version is that WDS don't have to be installed seperately. This is done when step 3 is applied. Also make sure you have a DHCP server serving the network you will use.
- Have a Network Access Account ready. This is a domain account with no further memberships. (something like CM_NAA)

This article describes a basic installation for SCCM 2012 RC. In this environment i will use a central SQL 2008 R2 + SP1 + CU4 server.
There are some requirements on the SQL server before you can succesfully install SCCM 2012:
- Intall a supported SQL server please check the supported versions here.
- The SQL server collation has to be SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS. Note that this is not the default setting when the system locale is NOT English (United States). You have to configure this during setup or you will have a hard time reconfugure it later.

Time for me to run the installation for SCOM 2012 RC. In this scenario i want the SQL database to be on a different server and with SQL 2008 R2 SP1 installed. The other roles will be on the SCOM server itself. The SQL installation and configuration is done so this article will only describe the SCOM 2012 installation. For each role there are some requirements wich can be found on http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=204655. If the requirements are not met the installation wizzard will show you what is required and how you can install or configure it. Reporting will be covered in another article.

In dit artikel, dat ik waarschijnlijk nog regelmatig zal bijwerken, een aantal handige tips & tricks voor DPM 2010.
- Via de admin consolle van DPM bestaat de mogelijkheid een tape te wissen. (tape erase). Dit proces kan best lang duren omdat DPM standaard de volledige tape wist. Als dit geen vereiste is kun je een registry key zetten voor een quick erase:
